Hi all,
Below please find the minutes for the meeting at Placeabo on
September 27st
as recorded by Ron Vandereerden. Please let me know if you feel that
anything was missed.
Approximately 35 in attendance
Jody Speaks
- on the community as it stands to date
- announces Shimmy's resignation - no idea at this point
who will take over
finances
- explains Bmorg's relationship with Regional networks
- explains role of Reps, which include promotion of BM
values within
regional communities
Delyse Explains VAST (Vancouver And Seattle Together)
- how they hope to unite resources of Vancouver and
Seattle for better
coordination/promotion of events
- explains that is autonomous of Vancouver group, and not
seeking to take
over recompression
- explains that VAST's fundraising efforts may be
available to the broader
community including Burn In The Forest once we work out who
will control
funds.
Attendees agree that the Recompression List may be used for
general event
organization
General consensus that more structure is required for Vancouver group
without becoming too organized... recognize need for follow
up meeting on
this issue.
Motion to take ownership of Recompression and Burn In the
Forest is not
resolved
Agreed to follow-up meeting on Nov.9th.
